Elise Metzger is a Chicago-based designer and creative director. She is the founder of Forward Fruit, (experiential design and interiors) and co-founder of Filigree Suppers (a design driven supper cub). She directs an exciting range of projects, all which rely on expressing the creative of a brand or individual through design, photography, communication and environments. She collaborates with a selection of talented designers for larger projects, thoughtfully bringing in the right talent to finish each project beautifully.

While her love of making and the arts is life-long, she began her formal design education as an architecture and design student, and her career creating retail displays and museum exhibits.

She has created large scale retail environments for Anthropologie, helped revitalize and develop brands for SC Johnson, designed trade show booths and branded environments for Brainlab, art directed and styled photo shoots for several national food and home decor brands, and launched a multi-city, design driven supper club. Her work has been featured in media outlets such as Martha Stewart and Rue, and written about in Travel and Leisure and Luxe Interiors and Design.

Elise holds a BFA in Interior Design and Architectural Studies from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a Masters of Design Strategy from the Institute of Design at Illinois Institute of Technology.
