NEOCON POP UP HOSPITALITY & WORKSPACE

Forward Fruit collaborated with Gensler Chicago to bring a boardwalk theme to life, designing the 20,000 SF NeoCon Plaza to showcase the best outdoor workplace ideas from a host of premier contract furnishing vendors.

JUST EGG POP UP CAFE

To support the launch of JUST Egg, a plant-based egg product, we designed and produced a pop-up cafe on Pioneer Court, on a picturesque plot along Michigan Avenue. The ask was a temporary greenhouse. Our goal was to transform the experience of tasting a product for the first time into a lasting memory. Signage, menu coordination, custom millwork, brand education signage and whimsical display were all a part of this 3 day, one of a kind footprint. RETAIL ENVIRONMENT

We worked with women's clothing designer Argaman & Defiance on a design for a retail environment and trade show booth as well as a brand refresh. We solidified different merchandising and display strategies for this high-end, hand-made apparel line as well as creative direction for their merchandising guide for their buyers.

BAKERY STOREFRONT AND WORKSHOP SPACE

We worked with Chicago cake company Bon Vivant Cakes to brand and design a workspace for baking, host workshops and to rent out for events. “Maven” was designed to be an all inclusive, femme identifying space, and the owner, Emily Nejad, wanted no shortage of wild color and playful furnishings to match her signature cake decorating style. A grown up powder room with the perfect “selfie” mirror was another must, as well as a way to incorporate Emily’s love of purple. We also served an art direction role, developing story telling assets for the website.

STUDIO & STOREFRONT

We worked with graphic design and branding studio Vichcraft to design a studio space and storefront for their Ukrainian Village shop. We took cues from their 2D work and applied it to a three dimensional space.

CONFERENCE BRANDING

This project was for a conference for Brainlab, Inc in Munich, Germany. It included branding, wayfinding, large scale environmental graphics, and printed collateral.
